James was the photographer for a wedding at Sandalford winery that we did the florals for. His capture of the light is ethereal and we are always happy when the wedding couple choose James as the photographer!!

We have worked with James many times over the years and he is without a doubt one of the best photographers in Perth, we are always in awe of the work he produces. James has a wonderful way of making you feel completely comfortable and natural when capturing the special memories of your wedding day. James is a gifted, kind, funny, talented and incredible photographer. It is no easy task to put into words how thankful I am that he was there to photograph my best friends wedding in the Utah desert. The energy & emotion of the most amazing day forever immortalized in his photographs. An artist that I admire and now a friend. James really is the best choice you can make in capturing your wedding day authentically, in fact, you needn't search anywhere else. He connected effortlessly with all of us and we are so sad that he lives in Australia and not here in New Zealand! There was not one dry eye in the house when we viewed the photos for the first time (I was actually weeping). When searching for the right photographer for my wedding as soon as I came across James’ work I knew we had to book him. I would’ve paid off any other bride and groom if he wasn’t available on our wedding date! He made us both feel so comfortable on the day and hands down (besides marrying my husband!) the photos were one of my favourite parts of the day. The photos we’ve received thus far are incredible and all of our friends and family tell us they are the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. As a wedding singer, I get to sit back and watch everything unfold on a couple's wedding day. I've seen a lot of photographers at work, but it was incredible to see James and the amazing rapport he had not only with the couple, but with the family, guests and other vendors.
